I was lucky enough to provide child care for Brad & Shelly's daughter Myira for two and a half years. Somewhere along the way I made her this crib size quilt for napping at my house. The bright four patch blocks were actually made by my son Conlan when he was about seven.
Myira eventually went off to preschool and took her blanket with her. Around the same time I used the same fabric from the back of this one to do the binding on the quilt her mom made for her first big girl bed. (Shelly pieced the top and I hand quilted and bound it.)
